We are working on our yard and getting ready to plant a garden. The boys have enjoyed harrowing with dad, and I shudder when I see it happening because I know that means more rocks for me to pick up. My pile is growing by the day.

School will be released for summer break June 5th. We will sign the kids up for more swimming lessons and a few other activities. Hailey and I will run in the 2mile fun run in Driggs and we'll both be taking core training classes throughout the summer.

Carson's plans for the summer are typical Carson plans, hunting, fishing, camping, 4 wheeling, playing with Bubba, going to Grandma's.... the list goes on and on.

Logan will be on his feet running before too long! He is standing up for the most part, he just doesn't realise he's doing it on his own, and when he does, he sits down. He pushes bar stools, laundry baskets, whatever he can, around the house.
I took a trip with friends to Florida, May13 - 19th. They were running a 100mile race from Key Largo to Key West. Brittni finished the race in 29hrs and 13min. We were awake for over 30hrs! The heat and humidity were brutal on my Idaho body. I enjoyed every step I took with my friends on their journey. I would do it again tomorrow, although, I don't think they would...
I had never traveled farther than Salt Lake City without my family. I cried so much the first night. I know it was harder for me than it was any of them. But absents makes the heart grow fonder and I felt it when I returned home.
I learned so much from the trip! I was traveling with wonderful women, Lisa Smith-Batchen (personal trainer and running coach), Jean Oakley (Hailey's piano teacher), Ashley Oakley, Heather Wilcox (my dearest girlfriend), Ashley Wilcox, Brittni Radford (Heather's sister), and Sister Mary Elizabeth Lloyd, a Nun, who is full of knowledge and has a great relationship with God. She taught me SOOO many things! She has made her own commitment with God and doesn't judge others for choices that they make. She accepts and loves everyone! She was running to raise money for AIDS orphans. She ran 40miles in her calf length black habit! She brought so much awareness to her cause! She made the front page of the Miami Herald and they even did a piece on her on Fox News. When they came to video her she asked us all to join her for a short run. So even I got to be seen on Fox News supporting such a great cause and amazing person!
I made new friends and I strengthened my bond with the others. I set myself a goal before I left to be able to run 25miles with them. I met my goal and tact on another 5! I was taken on a Sunset Cruise the last night there, where I, of course, met more people and made more great memories. I would love for my husband to be able to go next time. He was the only thing missing, but he did a great job with the kids. What a guy! Thank you dear, for making the trip possible, being a wonderful father and supporting me! You're the BEST!
Lots of Love to ALL!

Happy Birthday Logan!

Logan turned 1 year old yesterday! I can't believe how time flies! We had family and friends over to celebrate with us last night. I made a pork tenderloin and baked potatoes (love Idaho cuisine). Charlene made Logan a little cake of his own. He took the cake the same as he takes most things in life thus far. Bit by bit. He didn't dive into the cake as Hailey did nor eat it in huge handfuls as Carson did. He took a little nip. Enjoyed it. Waited. Took another little nip. It is fun to see how each child is different. I have enjoyed all of my kids. So different and unique in their own way. Logan has let me enjoy every stage so far, he's a happy and relaxed baby. It's been a great first year! We look forward too many many more :)

Mike and I decided to take the kids out of the snow for a few days. We flew to Las Vegas on Thursday March 5th. It was the kids first time on an airplane. Hailey and Carson enjoyed the flight and bumping the seat in front of them. I felt bad for the couple in front of them:( I don't think they enjoyed their flight. Logan got sick on the flight and stayed that way for most of the trip. We stayed two nights in Vegas. We took the kids to the shark aquarium and to Circus Circus and to a dinner show, Tournament of the Kings. They loved it! Hailey wanted a picture with the girls after the show and Carson wanted a picture with "our" king. We found the girls...

But we could not find our king....

And he was so disappointed.... Next we rented a car and drove to Mesquite and stayed two nights with my grandparents. We went to the "Valley of Fire" and had a picnic. It was really fun to see Grandma and Grandpa again. We cannot wait for them to come back home:)

Happy New Year!
2009 is off to a great start for us. We're all happy and healthy. We had a wonderful Christmas. I can't wait to get back to normal life!
Hailey had piano lessons Friday, we drove her out there and dropped her off and went for a ride. Leaving the piano teachers house we came across a moose in the fields. We waited for him to make it closer to the road and we drove up by him to get a good look. When we got closer we seen he only had one antler. Mike rolls down his window and says, Hey you drop that antler and we'll leave you alone. I'm trying to get a picture, but he's running so I say, whistle at him, try to get him to stop.

So Mike whistles and says, drop that antler. The moose stops, tips his head to the side, shakes his head and Dropped the antler! And ran off. Mike, Carson and I all got a good laugh out of that.

Carson was pleased to get their first antler of the year. He plans on getting many more this year!
We went skiing on Saturday the 3rd, Carson did great! He is really getting the hang of it. Hailey and her friend, Cora, took their first snowboarding lesson. They are old enough now to take snowboarding lessons with the school at Targhee. So we took them up for a private lesson to get the basics before they go up with a group. I think Hailey will enjoy it more as she gets the hang of it. I'm sure she'll still ski sometimes too.
Well, we hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season! We wish you the best year ever!

Dear Santa

Carson's preschool class had a little program and they had a special guest. Santa came. Carson was not very happy with the situation. Santa walked in, calling "Ho Ho Ho" and Carson turned and looked at me and said "He sounds like a Fake Santa! I Am No Sitting on His Lap!" I had to explain that Santa was too busy getting ready for Christmas to come, so he sent a friend. He was a little hesitant but after Logan sat on Santa's lap without a fuss. Carson decided to also. My only problem was that he changed his list of things he wants for Christmas!
