Merry Christmas!

'tis the Season once again! I always enjoy the Holidays. For Thanksgiving we enjoyed a traditional Turkey dinner at Charlene's house. The food was Wonderful! We all enjoyed the "where's the pomegranates?" salad! After a hearty meal and the "fish pond" we took all the cousins swimming down at the local motel. They had a blast!
Hailey celebrated her 10th Birthday on Wednesday the 3rd. Hard to believe it has been a decade already! We enjoyed a ski day for her Birthday up at Targhee. The snow was decent. For as little snow as there is on the valley floor, the skiing conditions were great! There was just the one lift open. But that was enough for us being the first time out this year with Carson. He is really quite a good skier. He'll be without the harness before long. We love being so close to the ski hill and being Season Pass holders makes it even more convenient.
We will probably take full advantage of those passes during the Christmas break. I am planning on making up on lost time for last season! As long as I can find a sitter for Logan, Tuesdays and Thursdays I'll have until 3:30 to ski! And if Mike is not too busy, we'll make it a date!
We wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season! Warmest Wishes To All! Love The Walters
P.S. I added a couple home videos to my page. Just click on the video and enjoy the shows!

Dressing up can be a scream, Playing tricks are dandy, But when it comes to Halloween, it's all about the CANDY!
We had a great Halloween! Now it is time to get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Hailey will be turning 10 at the first of December! I cannot believe it has been 10 years! They grow up so fast. Hailey might be turning 10, but she is not your average 10 year old. She is smart and not just in school. Common sense is one of her many advantages in life! And she's a great cook!! Sometimes I forget she's just 9. I don't think that will ever change. She has been a big help with Logan. And a big fight with Carson!
Carson and Mike went on their fishing trip. When I talked to them last Carson had hooked and landed 4 fish in one day, all by himself! I cannot wait to hear how they did on the second day!
Logan is getting big. He is learning how to wave "Hi" and starting to sit up. He is such a huge ray of sunshine! I cannot believe how quick his little smile is. He can charm just about anyone.
Well, I have posted pictures of our pumpkin carving, and other things from Halloween. I have also posted a picture of Carson and Mike with the doe they harvested together. Carson calls it "his doe" It was a good experience for Carson to have with his dad. One of the many yet to come!
We hope you all had a very Happy Halloween!

I am sorry it took me so long to get Mike's Wyoming buck posted. I was having problems with the website.
We are kicking off the Holidays pretty soon. The kids have their Halloween costumes and are ready to go. Hailey is a candy corn witch and Carson is Iron Man. Logan is going to wear a orange shirt that says, This is my Halloween costume. We are not going to drag him around in a uncomfortable costume. My 3rd child and I have learned better. It is never fun for them. We are actually not dragging him out at all. My grandma offered to keep him that night while we go to the carnival. Mike will be on an overnight float trip, so we are set to have a good time. Mike doesn't really care for going to the school carnival. And I don't really care to listen to him complain about going either.
Mike has had a pretty good hunting season thus far. He and Carson went out the other morning and shot a white tail doe. Carson really enjoys being dad's "little hunting buddy". I'm glad they are able to go together. It's just the start of what's to come...

Busy, busy, busy! Carson turned five at the end of August the same day Hailey started the fourth grade. Logan is growing like a weed. We are enjoying him so much. He is always so happy. We finally started landscaping by planting a few trees and placing a couple huge rocks in different places. It really helped the house! I cannot wait for GRASS!
Hunting season is in full swing. So I am now a Hunters widow again. It is always nice this time of year to have school back in and kids going to bed earlier, with Mike gone hunting I have some quiet time before I go to bed. But when he gets home, I have quiet time with him also. Things are going really well for our family right now. Mom's getting her time and Dad is getting his.
We hope that you all are doing well. Thanks for checking out our page.
Sincerely, The Walters

The Grand Teton

They did it! Congratulation Charlene, Michael, John, Tyler, Paula and Garry! They all made it to the top of The Grand Teton! I am so proud of all of them. They had an experience of a lifetime! A special thank you to Gary Cooper. Thank you so much for taking all of them and teaching them the things they needed to know in order to conquer their goal. They all had an amazing time!

I am so proud of them, and so relieved to have them home!

I wanted to share some of the pics Mike brought home. I hope you all enjoy them.

Love Stephanie

Hiking Jenny's Lake

Yesterday, July 29, Charlene took the kids and I, Lori and her kids, Amber and her kids, and Kim and her kids to hike to the Hidden Falls at Jenny's Lake in Teton National Park. We had such a good time. The kids did great! Logan went with us and he was the highlight on the trail. We did not see one other baby as small as Logan on the trail. And most everyone I passed would comment on him and I. And I have to admit, I would cover him up with the blanket for shade until we would pass someone, then I would let him peak out at them. I think some enjoyed seeing him more than they would have seeing a bear or a deer. When we arrived at the Hidden Falls, we unpacked and had some lunch. I took Logan out and laid him down on his blanket at the bottom of a tree. One lady came up and asked if she could take a picture of him, he looked so cute under the tree. I moved out of the frame and let her have a picture of him. It was so much fun hiking with him and spending time with my kids and sister-in-laws and my mother-in-law. We all had a good time. We went back down the trail and the kids were wading in the stream below the falls, Carson slipped on a rock and the current was pulling him down. I was SO scared. I was nursing Logan and I just started calling out for someone to catch him. The look on his little face was full of fear. Within a matter of seconds he was out of the water and Lori stripped his clothes and Amber comforted him. I am so blessed to have such great sister-in-laws! Maybe it was out of obligation, maybe it was out of sincery care, but I am so greatful they there to help Carson and I. Hailey was so disgusted with herself after it was all said and done because she herself got scared for Carson, and she tries so hard to tell herself she does not like him, when in all reality, she cares very much. She told me "I wanted to help, but I did not want to get my pants wet." I witnessed the entire thing, and her pants were the last thing on her mind at that time! It all happened so quick, it made me realise how quickly something like that can happen and how quickly it could have had a turn for the worst! Thank you God for watching over us.
